Afghanistan's health system is collapsing.

Over the past two decades, Afghanistan has depended on international donor support to fund essential services like healthcare. This funding has now been brought to a halt with catastrophic consequences on the health of millions.

International NGOs working to strengthen and improve the healthcare system in Afghanistan now face an impossible task to continue their healthcare services without funding nor future financial commitments from international donors.

Without this the health system will collapse.
  • Children will lose their lives because they cannot access basic treatment for malnutrition.
  • Mothers will lose their lives because they cannot access basic maternal healthcare.
  • The most vulnerable will lose their lives because they cannot access basic healthcare.
  • Thousands of people will lose their jobs and their means to support their families plunging them into poverty.
We stand together and call on international donors to continue funding Afghanistan's healthcare system, as you have done for the past two decades. The health of 35 million people is at stake.
