Raise Awareness About Child Labour in Pakistan

As a society we should try to discourage and eliminate child labour. In daily life I see young children working in a variety of places to earn a living rather than attend school. These children are working in our houses, shops, factories, workshops and even begging on the streets to help their families with day to day living expenses. However, majority of them are making very little money under very harsh conditions and its usually not sufficient to sustain their families.By depriving these children of their education society is preventing them becoming an educated and useful citizens in future.
Child labor is a global issue and also very common in Pakistan. According
to the ILO (International Labor Organization) report 3.4 million children above age of 10 are engaged in child labor.This reflects very poorly on us as a country as well as a society.
To address this problem we need to have a broad approach covering following
aspects:

1. Provision for free quality education for all children.
2. Laws to deal with child labor and their implementation.
3. Help and support from government and NGOs to poor families so they can send
   their children to school.
4. Running awareness campaigns in social media and mainstream media.

I believe that by highlighting and addressing this issue we can build a
better and fair society for every Pakistani.
