This petition is created to ask the G20 members to boycott the country of Saudi Arabia as next year’s host in 2020.The dictatorship Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a major sponsor of terrorism in the world and brutally silences anybody, specifically journalists who dare to speak against the kingdom;case in point, the brutal murder of the Journalist Jamal Khashoggi, dismemberment and discardment of his remains. The United Nations has now indicted Saudi Arabia for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed by Saudi-Arabian agents inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, 2018.In the report released on 19 June,UN extrajudicial executions investigator Agnes Callamard said Khashoggi’s death “constituted an extrajudicial killing for which the State of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is responsible.”Unfortunately, the report comes,as damage to the crown prince's reputation had begun to fade, with countries and companies resuming business with the uber-wealthy kingdom. In recent weeks, the Trump administration has tried to ram through a sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia over objections in Congress.A British petrochemicals company laid out a $2 billion investment to build three plants in the kingdom. The kingdom is even set to host next year’s 2020 G20 summit. The international community needs to call for sanctions, specifically against the crown prince. An investigation should look into how much the crown prince knew, whether he had a direct or indirect role, and whether he could have stopped the killing.Furthermore, they should be held accountable for the continuous genocide being committed by the kingdom in Yemen, and the death and starvation of thousands of innocent people, including women and children.I am asking that the G20 members to boycott Saudi Arabia as host of next year’s 2020 G20 summit, and hold this authoritarian terrorist kingdom accountable for not only Mr. Khashoggi’s murder, but also for continuing to persecute and prosecute those who speak up against the Royal Family. As G20 members, you should do better;put aside greed, and do the right thing.Show the rest of the world, what it means to stand up to bullies and dictatorship regimes and condone horrendous acts of violence being committed by the kingdom.Tell them, these acts will not be tolerated and will be punished. Put crippling sanctions against the kingdom, and do not let them with the support of the Trump administration,to get away with crimes against humanity.
The World is watching!!!
