In time past and hitherto, a department of the Nigerian Police Force known as Special Anti-Robbery Squad(SARS) established to protect Nigerians from robbery, has been involved in harassing, robbing and killing of Youths.
Officers of the department are known to always harrass, extort and sometimes kill youths with good dress sense. They intrude into our privacy by accessing our mobile phones, accusing us of cyber crime(Yahoo), extort money from us, when we refuse to be oppressed, they harrass us and kill some of us.
Fresh in our heart is the murder of a young promising Remo Stars footballer popularly known as 'KAKA' by men of SARS.
To ensure justice, to avoid breach of law by well-meaning youths and to put an end to this menace is to end SARS and reformation of Nigeria Police Force in its entirety.
