AVEN has recently been verified on Twitter!!! This means a lot to me and im sure to a lot of other asexuals. Thank you to everyone who signed and spoken up on social media!
What is AVEN?
Aven stands for asexual Visibility Education network.
It is one of the biggest asexual platforms they provide information on asexuality and have a whole community on their site.
Why it is important to verify them?
Other queer organizations are verified, if they verify aven too it shows support toward asexuality and their community. A community that is very invisible. It can show aven is a reliable source for people who want and read information about asexuality.
although twitter verification is supposed to be knocked off and they are apparently not taking requests, they have been and are still verifying accounts. There's no ace/aro resources that we are aware of that are verified.
