Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper: Sign the new Arms Trade Treaty and bring it to Parliament for ratification.

This treaty aims to cut off the supply of weapons to dictators and human rights abusers around the world. Canada voted to approve the text of this United Nations' treaty in the UN General Assembly in April 2013 but is the only NATO country who has refused to sign it. 130 nations have signed - enough for it to become law on December 24, 2014. We want Canada to sign on before implementation talks begin in February 2015 in Trinidad and Tobago. As citizens, we want our government to be officially represented at those talks.
