King of Norway, Harald V: Support the creation of SunHill Center of Art, Culture and Human Development

Your Majesty,

We kindly ask You to provide your royal support to the creation of Norwegian-Ukrainian Cultural Dialogue Center in Bergen, Norway.

The aim of it is to recreate and develop the long-lasting
Norwegian-Ukrainian cultural connections.

There is a lot of deep cultural roots in between Norway and Ukraine, starting from ancient way of Christmas celebration and ending with
poets, warriors and statesmen traveling in between our countries. And
right now there is a high time to recall those past connections and
to establish new ones. Furthermore it is especially relevant in the
war time in Ukraine and many other countries since the culture is the
source of inspiration and creativity for finding and establishing the
peace paths and treaties. And in Ukraine and Norway there are many
artists already involved in the peace-making process.

For making it possible we kindly ask You for the following support:

1. Support the creation a Norwegian-Ukrainian Cultural Dialogue Center in Bergen and give your royal patronage to the Center as the part of the existing cultural network of Norway;

2. Provide the Center with a space inside the Bergen Sentrum that could host various Norwegian-Ukrainian exhibitions, concerts,
lectures and other transcultural events throughout the year both
indoor and open air;

3. Provide your royal patronage with residency-related issues to our family who moved to Norway
in December 2015 with this dream in our hearts and minds. We are four: Andrii and Daria Miroshnychenko with our children Yaryna (3 years) and Frøyr (2 month, born in Bergen)
so that we can become the core management team of the Center.


We are sure that the creation of such center would serve as the
powerful trigger to the reinforcement of Norwegian-Ukrainian cultural
dialogue, the peace-making activities of art and to the common
benefit of both Norwegian and Ukrainian nations and citizens.


So we kindly ask you to support the creation Norwegian-Ukrainian
Cultural Dialogue Center in Bergen, Norway and to provide us with your royal authorization to do so.


In support of the viability of our proposal we attach the list of our previous projects, the strategic development plan of the Center (2016-2021) and the signatures of our colleagues and friends from Ukraine, Norway and
other countries.
