LEONARDO DICAPRIO : INDIGENOUS HUMANITARIAN RELIEF MISSION TO YEZIDI TRIBAL NATION IN IRAQ

Dear Leo, you stood shoulder to shoulder with us in the Indigenous Peoples section near the front of the historic Peoples Climate March on 29th April 2017, in Washington DC; now we humbly ask you to help us spread the word to your fellow philantrophic friends and allies ‐ to help us achieve another historic endeavour, albeit one of humanitarian more‐so than environmental significance Chase Iron Eyes ‐ well known American Indian activist, attorney, politician, and a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, member of the Lakota People's Law Project and a co‐founder of the Native American news website Last Real Indians)....and Damon Gerard Corrie a Lokono‐Arawak from Barbados ‐ a well known Caribbean Indigenous Rights Activist, and Official envoy authorised by the Ezidaxan Council ‐ the governmental Council of Yezidis of Iraq, to represent the Yezidi regional government ‐ and negotiate on behalf of the Yezidi Council with power of attorney to negotiate and sign official documents on their behalf....are trying to jointly lead a humanitarian relief mission via our Global Indigenous NGO (the Indigenous Democracy Defence Organization/IDDO) to the war‐ravaged Yezidi territory in Shingal Iraq (the site of the 2014 ISIS attack and massacre of thousands of Yezidi men and boys, and the abduction and continuing systematic rape as sex‐slaves of thousands more Yezidi girls and women; many even younger than Damon's 18 year old daughter Sabantho whom you graciously took photos with).
If we are successful, we will become the first ever Indigenous NGO to come to the aid and assistance of a fellow Indigenous People who are the victims of an ongoing genocide that the world is mostly ignoring.
