Herbicides and pesticides make people sick and damage our natural environment. The routine spraying of these poisons on our province of Ontario & County of Renfrew roadways, parks, and Crown Forests must stop (see www.ontario.ca/forestplans 2016 Renfrew County Crown forest spray plan). We the citizens of and visitors to the province of Ontario and County of Renfrew do not give our consent to routine herbicide and pesticide spraying on precious public land.
We support the employment of local people to brush and weed our publicly owned lands instead, and the use of other methods that are safer to human and environmental health, and that preserve Ontario's beautiful natural ecosystems.
Stop allowing poisons to be sprayed on our public lands!
