National Teams at the Sochi Olympic Games: Boycott the closing ceremony of the Sochi Olympic Games

We, the people signed below, are asking the Olympic Teams of our respective countries to show solidarity with the fighting Ukrainian nation and the Ukrainian athletes who removed themselves from the competitions of the Olympic Games, and to refuse to participate in the closing ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics on the 23rd of February, 2014. Pierre Coubertin declared that sports is peace, but peace has no presence in these Games. Not only are these Games taking place on the spot of the historic massacre of the Cherkesian nation, but they are also taking place at the same time as blood is shed in the neighbour country. And it is shed with the approval and aid of the host of the Olympics, with his machine of propaganda that calls what is black white. Therefore the international Olympic Teams have no right to participate in this feast of lies and cynism, our national flags should not fly in the place where the smile of the head of the state is hiding horrible crimes. This is not politics. This is respect to the victims of the Yanukovich regime supported by Russia, and to the human rights.
