For some reason, Damon has a terrible time at the event. Speaking of the girl with a Salvatore on each arm, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan are busy trying to get her to turn on her emotions, Bex has promised to attend prom as a real girl — aka, no vamp powers. It’s apparently too big of a spoiler to reveal whether or not Matt (Zach Roerig) asks her dance, but the quarterback does see a new side to her, says Zap2It’s Carina MacKenzie. Bonnie (Kat Graham) dances — with danger. reports she’s pretty badass in the episode.
Vampire Diaries Season 4 Episode 19 Things just haven’t been the same between Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Matt (Zach Roerig) on The Vampire Diaries since she nearly killed him at the end of Season 3. That kind of thing can really put a damper on a friendship! Alloy Entertainment spoke with Zach Roerig about whether the quarterback and the Original can ever reconcile. “I think that at some point Matt will understand why Rebekah caused the accident and acts the way she does,” says Zach. "He has a couple of honest moments with her at prom. There’s still something there and we’ll see how that plays out. I don’t think he’ll ever forget what she did but do I think he’ll forgive her? Yeah, I do actually.”
Aw, Matty can’t stay mad at anyone. Of course, as Bex has pointed out numerous times this season, almost every resident of Mystic Falls has done something terrible to another person/supernatural. Zach says, “At this point, everyone’s done a bunch of messed up things so everyone’s conscience is clouded. [Moreover,] everyone has a crazy rationale behind what that they did so a beautiful blonde girl could probably easily persuade Matt.”
Especially if she comes bearing more ridiculously expensive gifts! But don’t count on that. Rebekah is trying her hand at being human. That means no vamp powers or ways to compel luxury goods from unwitting store clerks.
Rebekah will just have to win Matt over on charm alone! Good luck, girl. Don’t freak out over these Klaroline spoilers, but E! Online reports Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will not attend prom in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You.” We know.

Despite everything, Caroline manages to enjoy the big dance — perhaps because she has a pretty good reason to smile?
By the end of the episode, Klaus is likely more concerned with what’s happening in New Orleans. Next week’s episode is The Originals pilot, and the hybrid must make his way to the French Quarter to deal with whomever is threatening him.

Online reports she torments him by delivering a scathing remark regarding the sire bond. No wonder Damon hates this dance so much.
