Nelson Mandela is a global icon of freedom. His life was dedicated to fighting oppression and racism. After his 27 years of wrongful imprisonment, he emerged a man preaching forgiveness and peace. Nelson Mandela took the helm as President, to captain South Africa through a journey of monumental transformation. South Africa, now known as the rainbow nation, has set an example to the world.

"Never, never and never again shall it be that this beautiful land will again experience the oppression of one by another."

Hollywood has now made a very important movie that depicts Nelson Mandela's life. This film will go on to carry the message of this great man through many generations to come. That said, Hollywood is looking to make millions of dollars in profit from the release of this film.

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund strives to change the way society treats its children and youth. This long-term vision captures the central role society plays in shaping children’s lives.

Their Mission: to give voice and dignity to the African child by building a rights-based movement

We believe that in honour of this exceptional man, all profits from his story should be injected directly into the Nelson Mandela Children's fund.
