Tusla the child and family agency of ireland
The rape crisis network are the only independent body for rape survivors in Ireland. They are the only voice for irish women who have been raped. The RCNI is the national representative body for 11 of the country’s 16
rape crisis centres, providing them with oversight and governance,
training, research, and legal support, as well as running educational
campaigns and lobbying on their behalf. It received around €250,000 a
year from Tusla. That was 70% of their over all funding.

we need this service to provide statistics and issue reports. The rape situation in Ireland is horrific as outlined by this amnesty international report:http://www.amnesty.ie/news/damning-indictment-ireland%E2%80%99s-attitude-women

Ireland has the lowest rate of conviction in the EU
We have an extremely low reportion rate of 14%
and an extremely high rate of rape

We need this service to insure the voices of rape victims are not silenced.
