United Nations Human Rights Council

24 year-old blind detainee Mr. Jaffar Matooq was sentenced to 10 years in prison with no investigations. He was detained for 2 months at the hospital and 2 months in the police fort. He was temporarily released due to the media pressure by the UN because of his special needs. Today he is in prison serving a 10 year sentence for a crime he did not do! He has been blind since 2013 hoping to be treated overseas. We demand his release and the right to be treated abroad.
