naming@capetown.gov.za (City of Capetown): Name bridge 1 over Nelson Mandela Boulevard after Fr John Oliver

Father John played a role as a bridge builder between communities - particularly within faith communities. For many years, he was the priest at the District 6 Anglican Church so this particular bridge is a wonderful tribute to the role he played in this area. Father John died in 2013 - a sad loss to many many people all over the world. He was a hugely loved and deeply respected person and deserves this simple acknowledgement. Gordon Oliver.
