ol.kefalogianni@parliament.gr: stop the poisioning of both domestic and stray animals in Crete

Death through poisioning is a babric and cruel practice here in Crete and in many other parts of Greece.Many domestic pets including stray dogs and cats end their lives painfully. Poisioning is frequent prior to the tourist season and also at the end of the tourist season. Please support these animals by signing this petition so that this babric practice ends once and for all. Tell the minister of tourism that we will not accept the continued indiscriminate sale of over the counter poision, that poision should be managed as a hazzardous substance with appropriate checks and balances put in place to ensure that no domestic animal or wild animal suffers such a painful death. Indiscriminate sales of such a hazzordous substance are a danger not only to the animal population but also to the humans. We require urgent review of the sale of poision and urgent action before a great tradgedy occurs.
