President Petro Poroshenko, First Minister Arsenij Jacenjuk, Onu and ICC: Stop the Ukranian violence in the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk

In Ukraine no longer live as before the revolution broke out in November 2013 has irrevocably changed the lives of Ukrainian citizens, their priorities, their hopes. The struggles of Maidan square are slowly exits from the chronicles because of the deads of Sloviansk, the massacres of Odessa and Mariupol, after the destruction of the Malaysian plane and because of armed resistance in the Donbass. Armed resistance raging, especially in the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk in particular, is very violent and has not yet ended. The bone of contention is the entry of Ukraine into the EU which would involve in a separation from the Russian political and economic things, something that many Ukrainians and Russians Ukrainians and / or Russian speakers interpret it as an unacceptable and contrary thing to their culture and history of those lands. Thus the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk, trying to emulate the crimean case adapting it to their present situation, they declared independent republics and yearn to achieve a complete separation from the Ukraine so they can get the desired independence. From here were born primed forms of armed resistance by the people of the Far East Ukrainian who triggered the violent and ferocious repression of the government of Kiev; which in order to suppress the resistance of the Donbass did not hesitate to use heavy weapons and / or illegal without distinction between militiamen and civilians for the only purpose of to give terror and keeping under its control strategic points of the rebellious regions by the use of brutality. This strategy is also useful for to accomplish the desired ethnic cleansing against the ethnic Russian wanted by the parties of the extreme right (as Pravj Sektor) that in Kiev hold a huge decision-making power and controls the ideas of the media. Among the weapons used by the army of Kiev figures the terrible white phosphorus, famous its use in the Iraqi town of Fallujah, which burns victims quickly and irreversibly. In itself, the only use of this weapon is illegal and would be enough for to accuse Ukraine of war crimes, but unfortunately that's not all because the government army also uses cluster grenades on civilians, which are also illegal. The fight in progress, beyond the interests of other countries, it's a criminal violation of human rights and a blatant denial of the right to self-determination of peoples. Also the army of Kiev is aware of this truth, in fact since the beginning of hostilities a few thousand Ukrainian military, gripped by deep disapproval and horror in front of the possibility of having to kill innocent civilians, have surrendered and joined into the ranks of the rebels; in addition to the rebel soldiers always steal more weapons and vehicles of war by a Ukrainian army that now is in disarray and able to make further atrocities for to follow the desperate directives of a not-democratically elected government that now runs and legislates from Kiev. The spiral of violence is raising the voltage to the stars with the risk of something serious could happen at any time. The Atlantic institutions have not yet managed to find a uniform solution with Russia in order to lower the tension and restore peace in a diplomatic way. With a large collection of signatures we can try to shake the conscience of the President of Ukraine Petro Porošenko and Prime Minister Arseny Jacenjuk with the weight of our petition and international pressure; and we can call the help of ONU and judgment of ICC. So that they can stop this violence and crimes thus allowing the Donbass independence. The independence of Donetsk and Lugansk is the only way for to save lives of innocent and unarmed people who suffer the effects of bullying Ukrainian eager to exert its brute hegemony. Sign it too and help for to stop the massacre of thousands of Ukrainians!


In Ucraina non si vive più come prima, la rivoluzione scoppiata nel Novembre 2013 ha irrimediabilmente cambiato la vita dei cittadini ucraini, le loro priorità, le loro speranze. Le lotte di piazza Maidan sono lentamente uscite dalle cronache, sostituite dai morti a Sloviansk, dalle stragi di Odessa e Mariupol, dall'abbattimento dell'aereo malese e dalla resistenza armata del Donbass. La resistenza armata che infuria, soprattutto nelle regioni di Donetsk e Lugansk in particolare, risulta essere molto violenta e non ancora giunta a termine. Il pomo della discordia è l'entrata dell'Ucraina nell'UE che comporterebbe un allontanamento politico ed anche economico dalla Russia, cosa che molti ucraini ed ucraini russi e/o russofoni interpretano come un fatto inaccettabile e contrario alla loro cultura e alla storia di quelle terre. Dunque le regioni di Donetsk e Lugansk, tentando di emulare il caso crimeano adattandolo alla loro situazione presente, si sono dichiarate repubbliche indipendenti e bramano di realizzare una completa separazione dall'Ucraina per poter così ottenere l'agoniata indipendenza. Da qui si sono innescate forme di resistenza armata da parte del popolo dell'estremo est ucraino che hanno scatenato la repressione violenta e feroce del governo di Kiev; il quale pur di sopprimere la resistenza del Donbass non ha esitato ad usare armamenti pesanti e/o illegali senza distinzioni tra miliziani e civili inermi al solo scopo di incutere terrore mantenendo sotto il suo controllo i punti strategici delle regioni rivoltose con l'uso della brutalità e compiere la desiderata pulizia etnica contro l'etnia russa vagheggiata dai partiti di estrema destra (Pravi Sektor su tutti) che a Kiev detengono un enorme potere decisionale e mediatico. Tra le armi utilizzate dall'esercito di Kiev figura il terribile fosforo bianco, famoso il suo uso nella cittadina irachena di Falluja, il quale brucia le vittime in modo rapido ed irreversibile. Di per sé il solo uso di quest'arma è illegale e basterebbe per accusare l'Ucraina di crimini di guerra, ma purtroppo non è tutto dato che l'esercito governativo utilizza anche granate a grappolo sui civili, anch'esse illegali. La lotta attualmente in corso, al di là degli interessi di altri paesi, costituisce una criminosa violazione dei diritti umani e una vistosa negazione del diritto all'autodeterminazione dei popoli. Persino l'esercito governativo di Kiev è consapevole di questa verità, tant'è che dall'inizio delle ostilità alcune migliaia di militari ucraini, afferrati da profonda disapprovazione e orrore dinnanzi alla possibilità di dover uccidere anche civili innocenti, si sono arresi e uniti alle file dei ribelli; oltre ai soldati i ribelli sottraggono sempre più armi e mezzi di trasporto bellici da un esercito ucraino ormai allo sbando e capace di compiere ulteriori atrocità pur di seguire le disperate direttive di un governo non eletto democraticamente che ora dirige e legifera da Kiev. La spirale di violenza sta alzando la tensione alle stelle col rischio che qualcosa di ulteriormente grave possa accadere in qualsiasi momento. Le istituzioni atlantiche non sono ancora riuscite a trovare una soluzione unitaria con la Russia al fine di poter abbassare la tensione e ristabilire la pace in modo diplomatico. Con una grande raccolta di firme possiamo cercare di smuovere le coscienze del Presidente ucraino Petro Porošenko, del primo ministro Arsenij Jacenjuk, possiamo invocare l'aiuto dell'ONU e il giudizio dell'ICC. Col peso della nostra petizione e della pressione internazionale possiamo fermare questa violenza continua e criminosa concedendo così al Donbass l'indipendenza. L'indipendenza di Donetsk e Lugansk è l'unica via percorribile per salvare vite umane di persone disarmate ed innocenti che subiscono gli effetti della prepotenza ucraina smaniosa di esercitare la sua bruta egemonia.
