Not only because the first idea of university come to light in Greece with Plato's Academy and not only because the right to learn is a Right of men and women, but because their closure will provide a dangerous precedent for the all the people in the world who are not rich enough to pay for expensive private universities. It will be a formidable impediment to the Greek nation to save its economy and people. How may the Greece become competitive without engineers, mathematicians, physicists, chemists, doctors? How may they have a sense of nation and people if they will no have philosophers, writers and so on. Someone says the the Greeks have badly managed their resources, someone says that they must pay to not repeat the mistakes, but I want remember you what happened with Germany after I World War and that the result was the rise of Nazism. We can help them without closing their universities and humiliate millions of Greek people without to solve the real causes of this economic crisis.
