Open Letter to the AfD
Dear AfD,

We are the 84% who did not vote for you.

We are left of center, right of center, and exactly in the center. We are people of every gender, every age, every background, every religion, every skin color, every sexual orientation, every political direction. We are the ones who make our country what it is.

And we rise up against your racism.

We stand for an open, social, liberal, diverse Germany, where there is no place for xenophobia. Where you want to erect walls, we build bridges. Where you aim to spread hate, we respond with solidarity.

This country belongs to all of us and you “are not going to take it back.

Sign our open letter to the AfD and let's make it a symbol of our resistance to their divisive politics:

* This letter was initiated in 2017, after the AfD entered the German Federal Parliament for the first time. We update the percentage after each nationwide election from 2024 onwards. Our goal is to collect 1 million signatures and make the letter a symbol for a diverse and open-minded Germany, and against the hate and agitation of the AfD.
