In 2022 when temperatures reached 40C, around 4,500 people died in Britain.

And with El Niño due to continue into next year, the heat will be coming back. One thing that’s for certain is that the UK government is not prepared - and it’s time they prove they’re willing to take action.

Installing solar-powered cooling systems across Britain’s schools, care homes and hospitals could save lives, cut emissions and reduce energy bills. But so far, it’s not even being treated as a national priority. That’s why we need your help.

Will you sign and share this urgent call for the UK government to protect vulnerable people from deadly heat now?
