Don't unplug Greece -- hours left!
To German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Managing Director of the IMF, Christine Lagarde, and the rest of Greece's key international creditors :
As concerned global citizens, we urge you to support Greece in creating a fair, humane economic plan that protects the most vulnerable, and puts the country on a sustainable recovery path that allows the reforms it desperately needs. We call on you to show courage and admit the failure of the harsh austerity approach you've championed so far. The entire world is watching and want you to put people first.

After decades of corruption and years of failed austerity measures -- half of Greece's youth are unemployed, 4 in 10 of their children live in poverty, and suicide rates are rocketing.
Months ago, a new government was elected to rescue people, not just banks. But in hours, key EU and IMF leaders could decide to bully Greece into a self-defeating deal that would hit the poorest hardest, or let the country collapse.
If enough of us speak out now, we can still persuade Chancellor Merkel and other key leaders not to unplug Greece, and instead accept a humanitarian plan that saves lives and allows the implementation of the reforms the country desperately need.
