As people from across Canada, we urge you to pass Bill C-355 to ban flights of live horses for slaughter once and for all. Our country is legally sending thousands of these sensitive animals in tiny wooden crates on gruelling journeys without food, water and rest, for up to 28 hours. This must stop.

Imagine being one of the Canadian horses flown to Japan to be slaughtered and eaten. Terrified, crammed into a tiny crate -- no food or water, sometimes for over 28 hours. If you survive the long-haul journey, you’ll be fattened, slaughtered and eaten raw.

This is animal abuse -- plain and simple.

But Canadian lawmakers are on the cusp of banning this! They will soon vote on whether to end these sick slaughter flights. Big agriculture desperately wants to stop that from happening so they can continue profiting from this horror show -- they baselessly claim that Canadians don’t care about these horses.

Let’s prove them wrong!

Once we have enough voices, we will deliver our call directly to Canadian lawmakers before the vote so they know we demand these slaughter flights be permanently grounded!
