Israel plans to force over 2 million Palestinians into a sealed zone in Gaza which they cannot leave. Experts call it a war crime in the making and the EU’s silence is deafening.

Israel’s Defence Minister just unveiled a plan to force over two million Palestinians into a giant camp, which they will not be allowed to leave. He calls it a “humanitarian city”.
But Holocaust historians and Israeli human rights lawyers, are calling it what it is: a blueprint for ethnic cleansing.
This is no longer incitement, it’s the formalisation of what many experts feared for months. And still, EU leaders enabled it to happen.
Enough with empty useless declarations: EU leaders must URGENTLY draw a red line and act decisively Israel through real pressure: by suspending trade and imposing sanctions until this mass forced displacement is halted and the aid blockade is lifted – or become complicit in crimes against humanity. The EU has said ‘never again’ before. Time to uphold the pledge!
