While President Trump boasted from the White House about ordering the ‘largest deportation operation in American history,’ Jocelynn’s schoolmates in Texas told her she would be left alone in the US after ICE agents deported her family.

This month, she took her own life.

Jocelynn’s death is a tragedy: no child should ever feel so afraid that they believe death is their only escape. And while we cannot bring Jocelynn back, we can make sure the world remembers her name.
