In 2015, delegates from 195 states met in Paris to seal humankind's most ambitious climate agreement. It took us five years to define a comprehensive global roadmap to achieve Paris's immense promise: a real chance to maintain temperature rise below 1.5ºC and give our future generations a planet upon which to live and flourish.

Mrs. Ribera, as chair of the International Renewable Energy Agency and a global green champion, we need your full leadership to support and encourage Fatih Birol to stand strong in his mission of shaping a secure and sustainable energy future for all by bringing all IEA's reporting in line with 1.5˚C.
