You asked us to let the security forces do their jobs quietly - but we’ve lost our faith in a system that can make people disappear. Prisoner X finally has a name. While we now know of his life, the story of Ben Zygier-Alon’s death, in an isolated, highly secured cell, is still a secret - and we can push the government to launch a State Commission Inquiry.

Bibi asks us to “let security forces do their job quietly, for our... peace of mind”. But when the work of security forces isn’t regulated by the law and the public is kept in darkness, everyone is in danger of becoming Prisoner X. Without a full, public investigation, none of us should keep quiet.
