Japan: Recognise Palestinian Statehood
To Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa of Japan:
Every day, my heart aches when I hear the news of the devastation in Gaza.
So many children are being killed on the ground where bombs have been dropped.
Please be courageous and take action. I urge Japan to join Spain, Ireland, Norway and the majority of countries around the world in recognizing Palestine as a state.
Recognition of a state is the first step towards lasting peace. It is also a message of solidarity to those who are suffering.
