In the early hours of this morning, the humanitarian ship, the Madleen, was illegally seized by Israeli forces on international waters.
In the absence of concrete actions from governments all over the world, 12 brave volunteers were attempting to deliver life saving supplies for babies and families while they suffer from Israel’s enforced three month blockade.
And now, they’re captives of Israel.
Kidnapping the Madleen’s crew is just the latest sign that Israel believes they can commit war crimes with impunity. If bombs weren’t enough, starvation is being deployed as Israel’s latest weapon of war. Even the world’s highest court has called for unimpeded humanitarian access to Gaza.
Israel cannot be allowed to routinely violate international law without consequence. Let’s turn the global outrage into real pressure, and demand immediate humanitarian access to Gaza!
