A global pledge for men
A global pledge for men

WHEN I WITNESS SEXIST & VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR, I COMMIT TO:

✅ Report  - call the police if the situation presents a serious and immediate danger. I will offer to testify about what I saw and heard. I will report something I see online to a moderator or platform so the user can be reviewed;

✅Document - take screen shots, photos and videos when I see abusive or predatory behaviour to help hold the perpetrator to account. I won’t share them on social media and will make them available only to the victim;

✅ Intervene - find a way to distract and see if the aggressor pacifies. If they don’t, I will consider a more direct approach, and challenge their behaviour;

✅ Check in - ask the person if they are okay after an incident and let them know that they are supported;

✅ Listen- not dominate conversations around sexual abuse, and instead, champion the voices of those with lived experience of sexual assault and harrasment.

Help combat misogyny. Sign or share the pledge with a man now:

A man you know needs to see this - he wants to be a part of the change. A CNN investigation just exposed networks of tens of thousands of men drugging, raping and filming their partners while they sleep.

Worse yet, they're posting them online — and they're teaching others how to do it.

Beyond this shocking story, male supremacist culture is spreading. Across 29 countries, 31% of Gen Z men say a wife should always obey her husband.

That is what we are up against. Not a few “bad men” but a toxic culture that’s spreading.

It's time to draw a line. So today we’re launching a global pledge, with key commitments for men who want to be part of the solution.

And everyone has a role to play in making it spread. Will you help us reach 100,000 signatures in one week?
