Dear Mr Grant,

Studies show over 90% of us carry your company's chemicals in our blood, but we write from hope not hate. We are citizens of the world who seek a better future for our children.

Independent scientists, experts, and the United Nations agree that chemical-based agriculture in general, and Monsanto's products in particular, pose a potential threat to biodiversity, food security, and human health. Soil destruction levels alone suggest we may have as little as 60 harvests left.

The time is coming when our agriculture will need to rely on safer, more sustainable methods. A pesticide free future is coming.

You can either accept this and transition your business model, or fight, with lobbying, manipulated science, and strong arm legal tactics.

You don't just lead Monsanto, you're the biggest shareholder. You can change its course, and change your industry. We are prepared to fight you in streets, the halls of power, and the courts. But why not see the big picture, and embrace the change that's coming, and do the right thing. You can find a better focus for your business. Your children and grandchildren will admire you for it.
