From Italy to Poland, women are denied the right to choose over their own life.
A citizen-led initiative called My Voice, My Choice has been moving mountains to change that. Their proposal has already been approved by the European Parliament. It could finally ensure that every woman in the EU can access safe, free abortion care.
However, we just received worrying signals that the commissioners may choose inaction this week, kicking the reform down the road.
