The Brussels Promise: Never again, starting now!

As politicians across parties and nations, we stand united against the escalating violence and polarisation. Despite our differences, we share one mission: to defend democracy.

Our Three Promises:

1. Never Again to Violence: We condemn violence. Political discourse must rely on words, not fists. We stand together to protect each other and democracy.

2. Never Again to Extremists: We pledge never to align with the far right, this means no cooperation or alliances with the ECR or ID nor with their affiliates, in the European Parliament. We will stand against hate and refuse to work with those who undermine our shared values.

3. Diversity is Our Strength: We pledge to work towards a free and equitable society rooted in dignity and respect. These are Europe's core values, and these are not negotiable.

Democracy is everyone standing up for our rights and freedom.

We are a democracy defending itself. Together.
