"The science is clear -- this is our last window to act. So we call on you to adopt strong “Green New Deals” to transform our economies and societies to a 100% clean and sustainable future."
At minimum they must include binding commitments to:

- cut carbon emissions to zero before 2050, with ambitious reductions by 2030 to keep warming below 1.5°C;
- generate the level of investment needed to green our energy, transportation, housing and food systems;
- protect and restore 50% of lands and oceans by 2050;
- stop funding fossil fuels;
- ensure a fair and just energy transition for all communities and workers;
- adopt innovative new finance and taxation solutions to transform the economy.
