Wealthy trophy hunters, overwhelmingly from the US, are helping to drive giraffes toward extinction. It's past time to protect this legendary animal with an Endangered Species listing!

An American hunters' tasteless display is causing outrage across Africa -- and calling attention to the fact that gentle giraffes are silently racing toward extinction.

There are fewer than 100,000 left in the wild! And while habitat loss and poaching are at fault, so are rich trophy hunters. And by far the US is the biggest importer of grisly giraffe hunting trophies in the entire world.

But there's a simple move that would give these iconic animals a fighting chance at survival: urgently updating their status to "Endangered" in the global Red List of threatened species. The hunting lobby is rich, but there are more of us ... and we're louder. Sign now to defend these epic animals!
