To Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and all Brazilian authorities:

We urge you to revert the dangerous appointment of Ricardo Lopes Dias as the head of the department responsible for uncontacted and isolated tribes in Brazil. His past as an ex-missionary and as someone who vowed to convert all indigenous people to Christianity poses a threat to the lives and cultures of these societies. We urge you to stop all attacks to isolated tribes in Brazil right now, and protect them as the Brazilian law says you should do!

Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro just appointed an ex-missionary to take care of the country's isolated tribes -- a man who promised to convert every indigenous people in the world to Christianity!

We need to stop this -- if these missionaries get in, diseases could kill the isolated tribes wiping out 1000-year old cultures and countless lives!

When the Amazon was burning last year, massive global pressure was key to get Bolsonaro to act. Let's do it again, and put up a massive global call to pressure Bolsonaro and force him to revert this decision -- sign the petition to stop this attack on the uncontacted people of the Amazon:
