As citizens from around the world, we strongly urge you to end the cruel practice of dog hunting. Spain is the only country in the EU that still allows this horrible industry, and due to the lack of regulation, it results in the unimaginable suffering of thousands of dogs each year.

Every year, tens of thousands of young dogs are strung up and tortured to death as ‘punishment’ for a poor hunting season -- and this horror show is happening in the heart of Europe!

A Spanish hunting tradition sees dogs hung from the neck, set on fire, dragged behind cars and even skinned alive. This medieval-style torture happens behind closed doors -- but together we can drag it into the light and force action to save the dogs from this brutal abuse.


Spain’s laws are supposed to protect dogs, but they are not being enforced because politicians don’t think people care. But EU MEPs are starting to call for action, and if we blitz them with a massive campaign and hard-hitting advocacy, we can ramp up the pressure on the Spanish government ahead of the next hunting season.
