As concerned citizens, we welcome the Commission’s Agenda on Migration as a first necessary step towards a strong and humane asylum system across the EU. We call on you to urgently adopt a comprehensive plan that saves lives, ensures the safe and legal resettlement of refugees, and establishes a fair and binding system to receive and assist people seeking refuge in Europe. We oppose any military action that hinders rescue efforts or puts those seeking sanctuary at risk.
