To Iceland Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir, and Minister of Industries Hanna Katrín Friðriksson:
It’s gruesome. They fire explosive harpoons that detonate inside whales' bodies, leaving them to agonise for up to two hours -- a hunting method the expert have deemed inhumane.
But millionaire Kristján Loftsson doesn't seem to care.
Despite political progress in Iceland, the 83-year-old magnate has no intention of stopping. And as no one yet has stopped him, experts fear hundreds more whales could be slaughtered in the coming weeks, as Loftsson’s hunting quota is still in force.
Fin whales are awe-inspiring creatures -- they communicate through song, form deep social bonds and experience love, grief and suffering.
Sign now to help spark a massive global outcry and end Kristján Loftsson's hunt for good. The Icelandic government has delayed action for too long. Let's make our voices reach Reykjavík and Loftsson’s bloody harbours.
