We urge you to use your power to stop a two-tiered Internet for the rich and ensure that all data traffic is treated equally. Corporations have long wanted a fast internet for the mega-rich, and a slow one for the rest of us.Now they've got one of their own running the agency that's meant to protect us from them -- we need to act fast.

While Trump makes headlines, his appointments are hard at work. He put Ajit Pai, a former telecom lawyer, in charge of the US agency (FCC) that regulates the internet, and his position is clear:roll back the rules that keep the internet fairand free from corporate capture.

That would be a disaster for internet freedom everywhere. Most traffic flows through the US and it’d set a dangerous precedent for places like the EU and Brazil, which could follow the lead. We can’t let it happen!

Last time the FCC took this issue on, it got 4millionpublic comments. ButPai is acting quickly and quietly, hoping that the world will be too distracted by the Trump circus to notice.Let’s prove him wrong --Avaaz will deliver our call to Pai himself so he knows the world is watching:
