Holy smokes! Some of our worst fears regarding TTIP seem to be coming true.

Secret negotiation documents published today reveal that:
    • Hard blows to EU consumer protection laws, including far weaker protection against genetically modified food and hazardous substances, are to be expected.
    • The US continues to push for private, undemocratic courts of arbitration – even though the EU Commission and the German government have claimed for months that this idea was off the table.
    • It will be extremely difficult to pass legislative regulations. An example: It would be impossible to forbid chemicals that are suspected of causing cancer for precautionary reasons. A horrific scenario!
