Ban Trucks accessing the M13 Fields Hill
On 5 September 2013 at around 7pm, 27 people were killed, 7 were critically injured, 8 were seriously injured and 11 escaped with relatively minor injuries in a massive accident on Fields Hill (M13), Pinetown, KZN as a truck lost the use of it's brakes, took the offramp and ploughed through 4 taxis and a car.

Having lived in Pinetown, and knowing the dangers of Fields Hill, I am sick and tired of the authorities not listening to the plea's from victims families to ban trucks from accessing Fields Hill (M13).
We all know, as well as the authorities, that the truck drivers do this to avoid the toll fees and pocket the few rands for themselves.
It is downright unacceptable that the KZN Traffic Department continually allows this to happen.
More and more people are being killed on that road thanks to chancer truck drivers driving unroadworthy trucks. We need to stand together and stop this carnage on this road!
It's simple: Ban trucks from accessing the M13 from the N3.
Sign this petition and let's take this to government, they must hear our pleas.
