the people can by saying it has to stop
Because its use of water that can be drunk by all living creatures or used on the land to grow our food crops is being wasted and polluted so as to extract gas and oil from the deep layers of shale.This water is then completely unpotable for ever polluted with a vast range of chemicals and it must be shipped and dumped back in the earth from whence it came but in a parlous and filthy state.
