Muchos niños están privados de libertad con sus madres recluidas en las cárceles chilenas. El traslado de los violadores de DDHH del penal Cordillera da la oportunidad de mantenerlas recluidas en ese recinto con sus hijos pequeños en condiciones que no dañen el desarrollo de estos.
