The elected representatives of the people MLAs,MLCs,MUDA Planning members and District in charge Minister Sri Srinivasa Prasad

The purpose of the perspective plan should be to preserve the character of the city and yet provide the development and the inevitable growth as the population increase.They are not conflicting if adequate planning of the infrastructure is done in terms of connectivity,power.water and sewage system since enough land is available and this in turn will reduce demand in the central area.

Unfortunately the Mysore Master Plan drawn by MUDA does neither.If this goes through, Mysore will go the way Bangalore has gone.

We have met many of the authorities in Mysore and Bangalore,so also leading political figures.

Our gut feeling is that unless there is public pressure the Plan may not go through significant changes it requires.
