Our petition has made it to the head of Live Bookkeeping and they have guaranteed that all soliciting of Live Bookkeeping will be removed from our wholesale clients and clients that we are tied to as the accountant. Intuit was not aware of this glitch in their system but thanks to everyone who has signed, it helped raise awareness so the issue will be fixed immediately. Intuit was wonderful working with me on correcting this issue and if any other bookkeepers see the advertisement on clients pages they should reach out to me and I will forward everything to Intuit and help them resolve the issue as fast as possible!
As a bookkeeper who sells product for Intuit, I was shocked to find out that Intuit is going behind our backs and soliciting our clients. This was promised it would never be done when QuickBooks Live was getting started. We were told they would only solicit clients who did not have an accountant. This has been proven to be a lie. We want the QuickBooks live removed from all QBO files. If you want to promote your services do it on your website, not in our clients books who we have brought to you, and most of the time only use QuickBooks because we have recommended it. As the highest level of a pro advisor this is an unacceptable way to be treated, to someone who you say has the higher level of care.
