We, the citizens of the world, in our support to the people of Venezuela, a victim of crimes against humanity caused by the regime which governs the country today and who pretends to evade international justice through a sham presidential election, which we do not recognize, and that continues to promote the migration of millions of Venezuelans who need our solidarity, call upon the Member States of the Rome Statute and other nations of the free world to comply with their commitment to guarantee that international justice be respected and enforced in a long lasting manner through the referral of the situation in Venezuela to the International Criminal Court so that it may proceed to open an investigation immediately on the systematic and widespread violations of human rights according to Article 14.1 of the Rome Statute.
