Stop stealing our INCOME TAX REFUNDS because of STUDENT LOANS!

This petition is to let the Government, third party companies and especially the Department of Education know that we are sick and furious of our income tax refunds being stolen from us. Most of us are unaware of the offset notice that they claim they sent out. Some of us have moved to a different address and receive mail elsewhere. Most of us will pay on our student loans but may have fallen down financially. That income tax refund was suppose to help us get back on track and start a payment plan to pay back our student loans and pay on other necessities to live in this thieving society. We should be given the option if we want our money to go towards our student loans. If we choose not to and have not set up a payment plan, then there should be other consequences; perhaps extra fees. If the government can take our income tax refunds away from us because we owe on student loans, it should be mandatory that the Department of Education guarantee students a GREAT PAYING JOB after graduation. GOVERNMENT/IRS!!!!! WE DEMAND YOU STOP TAKING AWAY OUR INCOME TAX RETURNS AND STOP HANDING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY OVER TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND COLLECTION AGENCIES! WE DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO DO IT!
