Refer Bashar Assad to the UN International Criminal Court (ICC)

'I wanted to die', is a report by Amnesty International on the torture and brutal treatment of civilian detainees inside Syria's notorious prisons and detention centres. This is the preferred method used by the Assad regime in order to instill fear and terror in the civilian population. Despite the implementation of a 'peace process' by the UN, which demanded the release of detainees, arrests and torture continue for thousands of civilians. The evidence is well documented and verified by Amnesty International. Therefore, we call on the UN to refer Bashar Assad to the ICC without further delay.
