Virunga National Park, a World Heritage Site, is Africa's oldest national park with exceptional universal value. It's rich diversity of habitats provides a home to over 3.000 animal species, including the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Situated in a volatile region of Eastern DR Congo it is now further threatened by oil exploration of Soco International. The impact of oil exploration would be devastating to the Park already struggling to protect its environment in the midst of a conflict area. Let's protect Virunga National Park!
