The Government of Canada: Prohibit arms sales to Saudi Arabia

The Saudi autocracy is one of the world's most abhorrent regimes. Human rights organizations have documented systemic and severe human rights violations by the regime over a period of many years. Amnesty International, for example, reports that the Saudi autocracy severely restricts freedoms of expression, association and assembly, imprisons
and tortures critics, including human rights defenders, discriminates against women and minorities, and makes extensive use of the death penalty, including by public decapitation. Let's call on the Government of Justin Trudeau to live up to its promise of a principled foreign policy!
